Chronology
of Baldwin Webster (son of Asa & Sally)

 

1799 Jan 16 Baldwin is born. His family was living on the east half of lot 4 on the first concession of Elizabethtown Township at this time.
1806 Baldwin, age 7, moves with his family to lot 35 on the fifth concession of Augusta Township. 
1814 Oct 14 Baldwin, along with seven of his brothers and sisters, is baptised by William Smart, Minister of the Presbyterian Congregation, Brockville.
1820 Baldwin leaves home about this time.
1827 Dec 7 The marriage bond of John Parks, carpenter, and Sally K. Haddock, both of Elizabethtown, was issued on this date in Brockville. It lists Baldwin Webster and Benj’n Wixs as witnesses, and Duncan Carley Esq. and Richard Carley, gentleman, both of Brockville, as bondsmen. In 1830, Duncan Carley married Susan, widow of Baldwin’s Uncle Parker Webster.
1829 Mar 12 Baldwin witnesses the marriage of his brother Norman to Antha Throop.
1830 May 21 Baldwin dies. We do not know from what. He is buried in Carpenter Cemetery. His younger brother, Phineas, then aged 11, adopts Baldwin as his second name.
