Chronology
of Parker Webster (son of Asa & Sally)

 

1809 Apr 11 Parker is born. His family was living on lot 35 on the fifth concession of Augusta Township at this time.
1814 Oct 14 Parker, along with seven of his brothers and sisters, is baptized by William Smart, Minister of the Presbyterian Congregation, Brockville.
1834 Feb 19 Parker marries Loannah Parker. They lived in the log house on Lot 35 in 1835.
1834 Their son Amos is born.
1835 Their daughter Manerva is born.
1836 Parker and Loannah move to the rear half of lot 32 on the fifth concession. This is the same land that was bought by Asa Jr. and Clarinda in 1826, and occupied by them until 1834. It's not clear who owned the land at this time.
1837 Their son Alonzo is born.
1837-39 In 1837 Parker and Loannah are back on lot 35 in 1837, but return to lot 32 for 1838 and 1839.
1840 About this time Parker and Loannah move back to Lot 35 to live in the frame house with Asa and Sally. Asa dies on Nov. 7.
1841 Jun 25 Their son Lyman is born.
1844 Mar 14 Their daughter Almeda is born.
1846 Their daughter Emeline is born.
1846-1847 Parker and Loannah and children move away from Lot 35 for these two years, and likely out of the township. Sally and another adult female, probably Phebe or Anna, are the only two living in the frame house until 1848, when Parker and Loannah return.
1849 Feb 25 Sally dies. Parker and Loannah and the children continue to live in the frame house on Lot 35.
1850 Their daughter Ann is born.
1851 Jun 5 Phineas and Charlotte, possibly acting on behalf of Polly, Betsy, Almira and Phebe, sell 125 acres of the Webster lot, number 35 on the fifth concession of Augusta Township. The purchasers are Richard Kirkby Sr., Richard Kirkby Jr., and William Langley. This leaves Sally and John Smith with their southwest quarter, containing 50 acres, and Parker and Loannah with the north 25 acres of the lot.
1852 Jan The first full census is taken in Canada West, with all individuals in each household listed by name. Parker and Loannah Webster appear in Augusta Township, Grenville County, with their children, Amos, Manerva, Alonzo, Lyman, Almeda, Emeline, and Ann.
Between 1852 and 1860 Ann dies.
1853 Oct 12 Their son Horace is born.
1854 Mar 8 Parker and Loannah sell the north 25 acres of Lot 35 to Richard Kirkby Sr. and Richard Kirkby Jr. This leaves only the southwest quarter of the lot still in the hands of family members. Parker and Loannah move back to Lot 32.
1857 Their son Henry is born.
1857 Parker and Loannah move to Lee County, Illinois.
1866 Oct 28 Almeda marries Sylvanus Cole in Lee County, Illinois.
1873 Lyman returns to Depeyster, St. Lawrence County, NY and marries Lovica Rounds, daughter of Caleb and Adelia (Parker) Rounds, on Feb. 13, 1873.
About 1875 Loannah dies, probably in Lee County, Illinois.
1880 The census reveals that Parker was still living in Willow Creek Twp.Il. with Horace and a widow named Laura Brooks (34 years old!)she had two children; Benjamin (age 7) born NY and A. Mary (age 5) born WI. Horace was still listed as single.
1880 to 1883 Parker moves to Fontanelle, Iowa with his son Horace.
5 Mar 1889 Minerva dies.
1892 Apr 10 Parker dies in Fontanelle, Iowa and is buried in Union Cemetery.
1895 Oct 25 Sylvanus Cole dies in Viola Township, Lee County, Illinois.
1906 Oct 11 Julius Fuller (Minerva's husband) dies.
1907 Jan 11 Almeda dies in Viola Township, Lee County, Illinois.
1919 Jul 23 Lovica dies in Elgin County, Illinois.
1925 Dec 26 Lyman dies in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois.
1934 Apr 9 Horace dies in Fontanelle, Iowa.
