A RECORD OF MARRIAGES SOLEMNIZED BY WILLIAM SMART, MINISTER OF THE PRESBYTERIAN CONGREGATION, BROCKVILLE, Elizabethtown, UPPER CANADA.

1818 Feb. 4th.-Enoch M. Chase and Sophronia Butler, both of Brockville, license, witnesses Parker Webster, Charles Lord. [this Parker was the younger brother of Asa]

1819 Nov. 26th.-Parker Webster and Susan Baker, both of Elizabethtown, license, witnesses by Charles Lord, E. M. Chase. [this Parker was the younger brother of Asa]

1829 March 12th.-Norman Webster and Anthony [sic: should be Antha] Throop, both of Augusta, banns, witnesses James Holden, B. Webster.

1834 Feb. 19th.-Parker Webster and Loannah Parker, both of Augusta, banns, witnesses William H. Parker, Norman Webster.[this Parker was Asa’s son]

1840 March 10th.-William Freeland, of Elizabethtown, and Sarah Webster Copeland, of Lansdowne, banns, witnesses Boyd Hall, Edward Moles.[This is the other Webster family in Brockville.]

BAPTISMS

1814 Oct. 24th.-Baldwin, Assa, Norman, Parker, sons of Assa and Sally Webster.

1814 Oct. 24th.-Sally, Betsy, Almina, Pheby, daughters of the above Assa and Sally Webster.
